Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information this portfolio collects, why it is collected, how it is used, and what choices visitors have.

Who is responsible for this site
This website is operated by Tianiazy Marindrano, an independent developer based in Madagascar.
If you have a privacy question or want to make a data request, email tianiazymarindrano@gmail.com.
What information may be collected
- Contact details and message content you submit through the contact form, including your name, email address, subject, message, optional engagement details, and any attachments you upload.
- Maya AI conversation data, including messages, optional uploaded files, optional name and email, session identifiers, source path, hashed IP address, and user-agent data used for abuse prevention, moderation, and follow-up.
- Public chat data, including the name and email you provide to start a chat session, your messages, and the session token stored in your browser to keep the conversation working across visits.
- First-party analytics data about how the public site is used, including page path, referrer, and click metadata.
- Local device data such as theme preference, notes, todos, timer settings, sounds settings, blog view preference, and similar UI state stored in your own browser.
- Standard technical data that may be available when requests reach the site infrastructure, such as IP address, browser information, or device information.
How information is used
- To respond to contact requests, role discussions, and project inquiries.
- To run Maya AI and chat experiences, including generating replies, handling uploads, and allowing human follow-up when needed.
- To protect the site against spam, abuse, scraping, fraud, and other misuse.
- To understand how public pages are used and improve content, navigation, and reliability.
- To store the settings or local notes you ask the site to remember in your own browser.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce site terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of visitors and the operator.
Legal bases where data protection law applies
If laws such as the GDPR apply to your visit, processing is generally based on one or more of the following: your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a business relationship, legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, or compliance with legal obligations.
This is an individual portfolio and not every law applies in every jurisdiction, but the goal is to handle data in a fair, limited, and transparent way.
When information may be shared
Personal information is not sold. It may be shared only when needed to operate the site or meet legal and security needs.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers, including Cloudflare services used for site delivery, storage, and backend processing.
- Chat or realtime providers, including SpacetimeDB and related services used to run live/public chat sessions.
- AI and model providers used to generate responses in AI features or assistant workflows.
- Third-party services your browser contacts directly, such as Google Fonts or websites you choose to open from external links.
- Authorities, advisors, or counterparties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce terms, or protect rights and safety.
Retention
Browser-stored preferences, notes, and local UI state stay on your device until you clear them, reset the feature, or remove site data in your browser.
Contact requests, Maya conversations, chat records, uploaded files, and analytics records may be kept as long as reasonably necessary to operate the site, maintain records, improve services, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Because retention can depend on context, this site does not promise a single fixed retention period for every category of data.
Your choices and rights
- You can choose not to use the contact form, Maya AI, or chat features if you do not want to provide that information.
- You can clear local browser data to remove saved notes, preferences, and other client-side settings.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data that can reasonably be tied to you by emailing tianiazymarindrano@gmail.com. Reasonable verification may be required before acting on a request.
- Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent, request portability, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Security and sensitive information
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used, but no website or online service can promise absolute security.
Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government IDs, health records, trade secrets, or other highly sensitive information through public forms or chat unless a secure and explicit process has been agreed first.
International access
This site is operated from Madagascar and uses providers that may process data in other countries. By using the site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries different from your own.
